Bed & breakfast policies

Check-In/Check-Out:

  • Check-In Time: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Check-Out Time: By 10:30 AM
  • Early Check-In/Late Check-Out: Subject to availability and may incur an additional charge of £20.

Direct Reservation and Payment Policy:

  • Deposit: Great Western may require a 50% deposit at time of booking.
  • Payment at Check-In: The full payment is due upon check-in.
  • Payment Methods: We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and online payments.
  • No Refunds: We provide a 100% Hotel Credit valid for 24 months.

Direct Reservation and Payment Policy:

  • Deposit: Policy is determined by the Online Travel Agency such as Booking.com, Expedia, Travelocity, Hotwire and AirBNB.
  • Payment: Determined based on Online Travel Agency rates
  • Payment Methods: We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and online payments.
  • Refunds: Based on Rate band booked online
  • Your contract is between you and the online travel agency. The Great Western Hotel is unable to adjust booking reservations and all cancellations, changes or modifications are between you and the Online Travel Agency.

Left Luggage/Lost Luggage:

  • Left Luggage: Your luggage may be left at the hotel for a period not to exceed 7 days, after which your luggage may be disposed.
    • Lost Luggage: Your luggage may be left at the hotel for a period not to exceed 7 days, after which your luggage may be disposed.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 7 Days Prior: Full refund minus a £25 processing fee.
  • 3-6 Days Prior: 50% refund of the deposit.
  • Less than 3 Days/No Show: No refund. Hotel Credit at the discretion of management

House Rules:

  • Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • Non-Smoking Property: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A £150 cleaning fee will be charged for violations.
  • Pets: No pets allowed. Violation will result in a £150 cleaning fee.
  • Visitors: No unregistered guests are allowed on the premises. A £50 fee per unregistered guest will apply.

Room Policy:

  • Occupancy: Maximum of 2 adults per room. Additional guests will incur a charge of £25 per person, per night.
  • Unregistered Visitors: We are a small family hotel and for the safety of the staff, management and guests all visitors must be registered or they will not be allowed to the non-public areas of the hotel.
  • Damages: Guests are responsible for any damages. Repair or replacement costs will be charged accordingly.
  • Housekeeping: Housekeeping is included for the duration of the stay, or every 3 days whichever is less. Additional cleaning services can be requested at £30 per service.

Room Assignment

The Great Western Hotel reserves the right to assign a different room of the same type or similar category as originally booked. This may be necessary to accommodate operational requirements or unforeseen circumstances. We will ensure that any changes maintain the same level of comfort and amenities as the room originally reserved.

Additional Services:

  • Parking: Free on-site parking for one vehicle per room. Additional vehicles will incur a charge of £15 per vehicle, per night.

Safety and Security:

  • Emergency Contacts: In case of an emergency, please contact the front desk immediately.
  • Personal Belongings: The management is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Compliance:

  • Legal Compliance: All guests must comply with local laws and regulations.
  • Right to Refuse Service: The management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone not adhering to the policies or engaging in disruptive behavior.
  • By booking a stay at our Hotel, guests agree to comply with all policies and understand that additional charges may apply for any violations or special requests.

Limitation of Liability.

Notwithstanding the above, by staying at the hotel, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless The Great Western Bed and Breakfast Ltd, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from my stay, including any injury, loss, or damage to personal property.

Complaints and Disputes.

Dispute Resolution. In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved through the complaint procedure, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through online mediation selected by the Great Western

Jurisdiction.

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with thisAgreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of theUnited Kingdom.
